Miss Nancy Schmancy
Artist Bio:

Nancy has been a theater costume maker for longer than she realized! She has worked at various costume shops in Chicagoland as a draper, first hand and stitcher. She has an MFA in costume design and a BA in fashion design. Nancy loves working with a costume team and mentoring new staff. She also has taught sewing "Camp Runway" style for many years to young sewers, who learn to use a pattern, sew a garment, and model it for a back yard runway show in one week. During this pandemic, Nancy has found solace in her sewing room and shares her creativity with you.

Store Description:

Miss Nancy Schmancy was born when my children were tiny and I was teaching sewing at the local park district.  I was making many bags as examples during my classes.  I started listing them on Etsy. In my shop, you'll find bags in beautiful, unique fabrics.  I call them the Perfect Size Totes.  They are individually created in my home sewing room just for you. I also make baby gifts like an Ruth Bader Ginsburg baby bib and face masks in fun prints like Dr. Fauci and RBG, Star Wars and VanGogh's Starry Night.
