Jo Pacinda is a costumer and costume designer based in Niagara Canada where she has been working for the past 10 years. Currently she is the Wardrobe Assistant at the Shaw Festival Theatre. She is a proud graduate of Brock University's Dramatic Arts program where she obtained her BA Honours in Production and Design in 2013. Since the start of the pandemic, Jo has been able to focus on her dream of owning and operating her own clothing brand. She started making non-medical face masks as a push to get her brand online. Since her website launched in June, Jo has added baby clothes, hair accessories, and custom skirt and dress orders.
Jo Pacinda Designs has been a dream of mine ever since I was a little girl. Altering and creating one of a kind clothing started out as a way for me to feel confident and comfortable in my own skin. I want to share that confidence with the world. Supporting local businesses is very important to me and I am so fortunate to be able to support them while doing what I love.
