Sarah Rogers
Artist Bio:

Sarah Rogers - I have over 20 years of experience as a patternmaker, dressmaker, and tailor for regional theatre. Most of those years were spent at the Alley Theatre in Houston, which was my theatre home for almost 2 decades until my job was terminated due to covid at the end of May. I have always prided myself on accuracy of fit and skillful stitching in the garments I create, and I've made everything from corsets to overcoats, from ancient Roman togas to contemporary high end bridal gowns. I'm married with 2 boys, 2 dogs, and 2 cats who all need to eat! We're very fortunate in that my husband is still employed so we're still able to access health insurance, but his hours have been reduced and I'm no longer earning anywhere near what I used to when working for a major theatre. I launched this business in June to try to bring in a little extra money to stretch our savings further. Any support is very much appreciated! Thank you for thinking of small businesses this holiday season.

Store Description:

IncredibleThreadables started with a few masks, and has expanded from there. While I still make many custom masks I also make bandanas for your dog, outdoor quilts for camping or beach trips, and aprons upcycled from vintage sheet sets. All items are fully handmade in the USA by a woman owned small business. If you're local to the Houston area, I'm glad to take on alterations or create a garment for you!
