Chris Haig is a set and prop designer based in Philadelphia. A graduate of University of the Arts, he has been designing sets and making props regionally for 20 years. As a freelance set designer, he's worked with a bunch of the city's best companies. For the past 9 years, he has also been the Props Master at Arden Theatre Company. He also taught Scenery & Prop Technology at his alma mater, UArts. In March of 2020, all of that came to a screeching halt. Since the pandemic began every job, show and class has been cancelled. Chris has decided to turn his design and crafting skills toward toy and craft making until this long intermission comes to an end.
I have been making handcrafted gifts for my niece and nephews for over 15 years. From step stools to kaleidoscopes, ukeles to wood toys, each gift is personalized and made especially to fit the recipient. I also wrap all these gifts in my own hand-painted wrapping paper. Now these toys, crafts and wrapping paper made for my family and friends are available for yours! But why Beep Boy's Garage? Any who knows me, knows I love robots. So much so that my youngest nephew Milo knows me as Uncle Beep Bop. You know, like the sound a robot makes - beep bop beep bop beep bop! Hence Beep Bop's Garage was born.
